Vintage style aprons & hand towels

Last Friday my friend Stephanie over @ Chef Tess Bakeresse asked me to make her some vintage style aprons. She brought me this retro skirt she thought would be a cute apron. I added a bib, pockets, trim and voila, a re-purposed retro-vintage double sided apron!

The eyelet and rick rack trim are curtsey of a long time friend of my moms Merlene, now those trims are vintage!

This next apron is a half apron. The fabric was left over from some drapes I did last year, I love the fabric and thought it would make a cute apron. I use 3 in wide brown lace, and light aqua trim. I love how it turned out.

This is my fav apron out of the 3 I did, it's a cross between I love Lucy/French maid. I love the ruffles, the eyelet trim and pearl buttons really make this apron super girly and dare I say sexy!

Stephanie also asked me to crochet her a hand towel, I added some black polka dot ribbon and button to give it a modern twist.

If you like what you see head on over to Chef Tess Bakeresse cause guess what she is having a give away you could win one of the above aprons or hand towel, so go check it out and enter! And if you are visiting from Stephanie's blog welcome and I hope you will become a follower thanks for visiting!

And don't worry if you don't win there will be more aprons and hand towels available for purchase in my etsy shop Kit'n Kaboodle Kids (the link is on my side bar), next Friday!
